The alternator isn’t on the top, it’s buried down on the bottom and near impossible to do. I looked at the youtube videos and said hell no. I told Tim I was up around 5am on Sunday, Tim said he would be over at 6am. Showed up promptly and quickly diagnosed that indeed it was the alternator.

Plenty of “tow it and wait three days” problems are really “fixed on the shoulder” problems. I carry the tools to sort a lot of trouble right where the car quit, and if it truly needs more, I’ll tell you straight before you spend a dime. I’ve pulled over for strangers on the 17 just because they looked stuck.
I was on the side of the 17 with a pretty nasty blow out and having trouble with my tire jack. Tim saw me struggling on the side of the road and pulled over and helped me out. Super nice guy, knew exactly what to do and probably saved me a call for a tow truck and a big bill.

Diesel and heavy work welcome
A lot of mobile guys stop at brakes and batteries. I do rear differentials, I pull engines down to the bare block, and I build turbos. Tow trucks come to me to get rescued, which tells you something. If your rig earns its keep, my job is keeping it earning.
Got our tow truck back on the road fast and was very responsive! Will definitely be using in the future!
